    Highwood is a Calgary Community located in the North West Quadrant of the city. Not to be confused with The Highwood, SAIT’s culinary restaurant and live classroom. The community of Highwood is bounded by John Laurie Blvd NW and McKnight Blvd NW to the North, 14th Street, Nose Hill Park to the West, and 4th Street NW to the South. Queens Park Village (AKA Queens Park Cemetary is also located to the South, just South of 40th Avenue and Northmount Drive). Highwood is on the northern border of what is considered as an inner-city infill community, but there are a few builders that have decided to build in this community and hence why we need to mention it here.
