    Bankview Calgary is located in the South West Quadrant in the city of Calgary and is one of the oldest communities in the city, established in 1908. Banview 17th Avenue and 14th Street. One of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods sitting on a hill, it provides panoramic views of the city.

    The neighbourhood is bounded by 17th Avenue SW and 26th Avenue SW from the North and South, 14th Street SW and 19th Street SW from the East to West. Just on the corner of the popular entertainment district of 17th Avenue SW AKA Red Mile back in 2004. Neighbouring communities include South Calgary, Altadore (Aka Marda Loop), Killarney and Connaught. Nearby Crowchild Trail is the main major road that serves the community of Bankview 14th Street is also a great connection for the community into the Downtown Core.  Majority of the residencies in Bankview are renters that reside in condominiums and apartments. Plenty of shops, restaurants in nearby community of the Beltline. Midtown Co-op and Safeway Downtown are also closeby grocery stores.
