Sunalta Community is one of the newest up and coming community in the inner city infills in Calgary. It is located directly West of the Downtown core and the Beltline Communities. 1 C-train stop to downtown, or within walking distance to the downtown core. With the development of the West LRT Train station line, this community went from being an overpriced community with no attractions, to a community that has a lot of growth potential.
Sunalta is bounded by Bow River to the North, 14th Avenue to the East part of 17th Avenue SW meets with Scarboro Avenue and runs all the way West to the Shaganappi Trail Golf Course. Both Bow Trail and Crowchild Trail run right through the community of Sunalta.
Scarboro/Sunalta West is considered a separate community than Sunalta. But it is a blended community with Scarboro and is often considered as one community itself.

We personally believe that Sunalta is definitely undervalued for the location as an infill potential. With it’s proximity to downtown, older homes that are ready to be renovated or demolished, and convenience of grocery stores, C-Trains, bike paths, and walkability. Sunalta is one of our top picks for infill potential communities.
