    Our favourite cafe is actually located in the residential area of Sunnyside and not in Kensington. Vendome Cafe is located on a quiet street off 2nd Avenue. A quick walk from the Sunnyside LRT,  Vendome is owned by the Teatro Group, which is a family run chain of top restaurants in Calgary. http://www.vendomecafe.com/. Vendome offers amazing European inspired food, and decadent desserts. And live entertainment every Thursday night. Did I mention they were licensed to serve Beer and Wine and other delicious alcoholic beverages?
